Preface:
Mahabharata means in Sanskrit "Great Bharata”. It is a mythic epic of ancient India and it has religious and philosophical aspects. It has been valued position in the Veda scriptures. This story described a war between the ancient Royal families. It has been added various legends, Hindu narratives and poetries.
The author of this epic is considered Saint Veda Vyasa, but the actual author is unclear.
Original script is written in Sanskrit. In this great epic, Mahabharata, “Bhagavadgita” is an important and prominent part for religion particularly.
About this Epic and the Author
Through this story, Sage Vyasa taught the way of life required correctness, according with Dharma. And he wished that a human should understand the process brings suffering to others. He said, “Don’t see only the surface of things, you should think to the inside meaning of things.”
It is said that the Sage Vyasa had most of his life, in the depths of a forest.
In order to compile these Epics as in the legend, the saint asked to Hindu God Ganesha who has an elephant-head, for writing in Sanskrit.
He requested to God Ganesha, “Load, be kind enough to be scribe of my epic.”
These kind of myth, epic are originally handed down by oral tradition, so the Saint should requested to Festival Official of Brahman as record-keeping by Sanskrit.
One of the books I did refer to (Japan translation from English) wrote the Afterword by the translator.
"What a magnificent story might be, beautiful, intense, sorrowful, noble and very interesting. Describing an internecine battle, we can hear exquisite melody emanates from the ravine of the sentence. They are like the resonating with the workings of the universe, such as touching the origin of life, deep, deep harmony.
This story is similar to the flow of the Ganger, and it has profound allegory and spirituality.
I have decided to start attempt announced on the Internet and video rather than book or essay for this Great Epic. I have been published “Great Journey: Introduction of Buddhism” on Web Site and YouTube.
But this project was expected more difficult. It’s unknown to be achieved or not.
I have decided to take the first step, shake of my hesitation.
